ANIMAL AVERY
NEW YORK (AP) - ragsSean Avery returned from a one-game benching and scored twice to help the New York Rangers earn a key 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday.

In a game where both goaltenders played amazing, five goals were put up in the third period. Flyers goaltender Michael Leighton continued to amaze the city as he was named first star for stopping 39 of Chicago's 41 shots. Blackhawk netminder Cristobal Huet also had a solid game, stopping 31 Flyer offerings on net. However, as seen by his stick toss at the end of the... [Read More]

"We made some simple-but-important plays to establish our forecheck. Without that, we couldn't put pressure on them. I thought we did a really good job with that and we created a lot of offensive chances by putting... [Read More]
